Château Tayet, owned by the De Schepper family, is situated on the edge of the Médoc, within the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation. The estate benefits from gravelly soils and a temperate maritime climate, ideal for the expression of Merlot and Cabernet. The Cuvée Prestige is a carefully vinified selection of grapes from specific plots, representing the jewel in the estate’s crown. It embodies the commitment to quality of the De Mour group, a family-run Bordeaux estate for several generations.
Château Tayet Cuvée Prestige 2023 is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, aged in barrels for 12 months (30% new). This sunny, perfectly balanced vintage offers a concentrated, round and expressive wine, with vibrant fruit and a refined structure. It combines richness, smoothness and freshness, whilst remaining accessible and versatile.
Deep colour with ruby highlights. An intense nose of blackberry, black cherry, vanilla and cocoa. On the palate, Château Tayet Cuvée Prestige 2023 reveals a generous body, well-integrated tannins, lovely suppleness and a balanced finish. A charming Bordeaux Supérieur with a strong personality.
