Château Tayet is owned by the De Schepper family and is situated on the outskirts of Margaux. This estate produces wines under the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, renowned for their consistency and their distinctly ‘Left Bank’ style. The Cuvée Prestige is its finest single-vineyard selection, combining classic Bordeaux character, finesse and approachability. The care taken in both vineyard management and winemaking enables Château Tayet to offer wines that represent excellent value for money.
Château Tayet Cuvée Prestige 2021 est issue d’un assemblage typique bordelais dominé par le Merlot, complété de Cabernet Sauvignon. Ce millésime présente un profil élégant, sur le fruit, avec une trame structurée mais accessible. Le vin est élevé en barriques de chêne français, partiellement neuves, pour apporter complexité et rondeur sans dominer l’expression du fruit. Un Bordeaux Supérieur moderne, pensé pour le plaisir immédiat tout en offrant un bon potentiel de garde.
The colour is a deep ruby red. The nose opens with notes of ripe red fruits (cherry, wild strawberry), accompanied by gentle spices and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, the attack is supple, the tannins are well-integrated and the finish is balanced. Château Tayet Cuvée Prestige 2021 charms with its elegance and immediate drinkability.
