Located in the Maule Valley in Chile, TerraNoble is a winery renowned for its environmental commitment and pursuit of quality. Founded in 1993, the estate pioneered Carménère as Chile's emblematic grape variety and also showcases heritage varieties such as Carignan. Cultivated on dry soils, the vines are cultivated using sustainable and artisanal practices. TerraNoble Carignan Grand Reserva 2018 is made from carefully selected old Carignan vines in the Maule Valley. The grapes are hand-harvested to preserve their freshness and integrity. This vintage was aged in French oak barrels, revealing a refined and complex expression of the varietal. The wine is distinguished by its aromatic depth, balance, and elegance, reflecting both the typicity of Carignan and the richness of the Chilean terroir.
Visually, TerraNoble Grand Reserva Carignan 2018 displays an intense ruby color. The nose is expressive, blending ripe black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), sweet spices, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it seduces with its ample structure, silky tannins, and perfectly balanced freshness. The finish is long, carried by aromas of cocoa, licorice, and an elegant touch of oak. This wine pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, stews, or Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
