Le Créateur is the most ambitious cuvée from Château Haut Breton Larigaudière, owned by the De Schepper family in Margaux. Its name pays homage to the Dutch meaning of "De Schepper": "the creator." Produced only in exceptional vintages, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is made from a rigorous selection of the finest parcels, with careful aging in new oak barrels. It embodies the noblest spirit of the estate and of the De Mour group, a wine merchant and owner committed to Bordeaux excellence.
Le Créateur 2016 is a high-definition wine, born from a classic and exceptional vintage in Bordeaux. This pure Cabernet Sauvignon reveals remarkable structure, great aromatic precision, and impressive aging potential. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new), it possesses a subtle complexity without masking the fruit's freshness. A rare cuvée, crafted for special occasions.
Deep robe with purplish highlights. Intense nose of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), cigar box, pepper, and graphite. On the palate, Le Créateur 2016 is ample and structured, with fine but present tannins and a long, precise, and mineral finish. A Margaux with a distinguished and enduring style.
