Le Créateur is the most exclusive cuvée from Château Haut Breton Larigaudière, located in Soussans, in the Margaux appellation. The name pays homage to the Dutch meaning of the family surname De Schepper, the estate's owners: "the creator." Produced only in exceptional vintages, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon cuvée embodies the estate's vision: precision, exacting standards, and a focus on showcasing the terroir. The grapes come from the vineyard's finest plots, planted on the deep gravel soils typical of Margaux, ensuring concentration and elegance. It is a wine crafted with exceptional care, rare and unique.
Le Créateur 2019 is a characterful red wine made exclusively from Cabernet Sauvignon. After rigorous selection in the vineyard, the grapes are vinified in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, a significant proportion of which are new. The 2019 vintage, balanced and sun-drenched, yields a wine with a fine structure, controlled freshness, and complex aromatics. This cuvée reveals the nobility of the grape variety in the Margaux terroir, with a modern, precise, and perfectly controlled touch. It embodies a pure expression of Cabernet in Bordeaux.
Deep garnet in color. The nose opens with notes of blackcurrant, cedar, graphite, and fresh mint. On the palate, Le Créateur 2019 offers a silky texture, precise tannins, and a beautiful length.
