Château La Croizille is a 5-hectare estate situated in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, on an exceptional hillside terroir of clay and limestone. Owned by the De Schepper family since 1996, the château has been equipped with an ultra-modern winery to enable precise plot-by-plot vinification. The vineyard adjoins that of Château Tour Baladoz. Here, each vintage is the expression of meticulous craftsmanship, balancing tradition and innovation, with a clear aim: to produce racy, expressive and elegant Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wines.
Château La Croizille 2018 is made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This sunny, generous and perfectly ripe vintage produces a dense, charming wine with excellent structure. Ageing for 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new) brings complexity, mellow tannins and a controlled, woody elegance. A wine made for ageing, in a modern and seductive style.
A deep purple colour. An intense nose of ripe black fruit, mocha, sweet spices and a hint of minerality. On the palate, Château La Croizille 2018 is full-bodied, silky and concentrated yet balanced, with a long, flavourful finish. A harmonious and generous Grand Cru.
