Located in the Maule Valley, Chile, the Terranoble estate was founded over 25 years ago. This visionary producer embodies both the nobility of its terroir and a strong commitment to the environment. A pioneer in promoting Carménère, Terranoble combines tradition and innovation to produce wines of character, while adopting sustainable and ethical practices. Each cuvée is crafted to reflect the authenticity of the place, with remarkable precision in expressing the grape varieties.
The Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2021 comes from parcels located in the valleys of Casablanca and Aconcagua, areas renowned for their cool climate. The grapes, grown in alluvial mineral soils, are harvested at full maturity. Partial skin maceration precedes a slow fermentation at low temperature, preserving the primary aromas of the varietal. The wine is then aged on its fine lees for two months to add volume and complexity.
This 2021 Sauvignon Blanc displays a clear, silvery hue. The nose is expressive, with aromas of citrus, lemon, grapefruit, and green apple. On the palate, the tension is remarkable, supported by a crisp acidity and a very refreshing lemony finish. Best enjoyed young, around 10°C, as an aperitif or with dishes such as ceviche, grilled shrimp, or fresh goat cheese.
