Vallegre Colheita is a family-run winery located in the prestigious Douro Valley, Portugal. For five generations, it has maintained a tradition of artisanal production while incorporating modern winemaking techniques. Deeply rooted in its terroir, Vallegre pays particular attention to environmental preservation and the authentic expression of native Portuguese grape varieties.
The Vallegre Colheita 2021 is a dry white Douro DOC wine made from a harmonious blend of Viosinho, Arinto, Rabigato, and Gouveio grapes. Grown on terraces with varying exposures, the vines benefit from a unique microclimate. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by six months of aging on fine lees. The result: an elegant and structured white wine, perfect as an aperitif or with seafood.
Visually, it presents a pale yellow color with citrus highlights. The nose is fresh, dominated by white fruits and citrus, enriched by delicate floral notes. On the palate, the attack is lively, followed by a lovely roundness and a creamy finish. Its balance between freshness and richness makes it very approachable.
