Le Créateur is an emblematic cuvée from Château Haut Breton Larigaudière, a family estate managed by the De Schepper family. Produced only in exceptional vintages, it pays homage to the owners' name itself: "De Schepper" meaning "the creator" in Dutch. Made from rigorously selected parcels, this wine embodies the excellence and ambition of the estate within the Margaux appellation.
Le Créateur 2018 is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, vinified with precision and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new). The 2018 vintage, exceptional in Bordeaux, yields a concentrated, profound, powerful, and perfectly balanced wine. This age-worthy wine reveals the full potential of Cabernet Sauvignon on the fine gravelly soils of Soussans, north of Margaux.
Intense robe with purple highlights. Complex nose of blackcurrant, cedar, licorice, and sweet spices. On the palate, Le Créateur 2018 reveals a dense attack, a beautiful tannic structure, and a refined finish. The elegant oak is perfectly integrated. A great wine for aging, with a strong personality.
