Domaine Jean-Luc MOUILLARD

The Sélection 2018 from Jean-Luc Mouillard, a winemaker since 1991, is produced from 11 hectares of vines in Mantry, within the Revermont region, alongside his wife and son. They produce wines across three Jura appellations. Over the years, the estate has expanded, with the acquisition of a house in 1997, the construction of a winery in 2005, and a storage building in 2013. In 2016, they added a new vineyard to their estate. The frosts of April 2017 and May 2019 impacted their production.

Tasting note

Bottled after two years in barrels, this wine results from a perfect balance between a blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin. Both grapes come from the small appellation of Étoile, known for producing only white wines and Vin Jaune. It features a powerful nose with aromas of green almonds and dried fruits.
