The Estate

Château La Croizille is a discreet estate located on the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion. Part of the De Mour group, it perfectly blends modernity and tradition. Thanks to a spectacular gravity-flow winery, rigorous plot-by-plot vinification, and aging in new oak barrels, the estate has quickly risen to become one of the region's leading producers. The vineyard benefits from ideal exposure and a complex terroir, allowing for the production of powerful, elegant wines built for aging. La Croizille brilliantly exemplifies the new generation of great Saint-Émilion wines.

The wine

The 2015 vintage is recognized as a great year in Bordeaux. It produced sun-drenched, generous, and balanced wines. This magnum of Château La Croizille 2015 is a perfect example: dominated by Merlot, with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon, it offers beautiful concentration, a silky texture, and a long finish. The magnum format extends its development in the cellar and guarantees an optimal tasting experience. This wine is now at its peak, while still retaining good aging potential.

Tasting notes

Deep and brilliant in color. The nose opens with aromas of jammy black fruit, blond tobacco, sweet spices, and cedar. The palate is full and structured, with smooth tannins and a controlled freshness. A beautiful harmony between power and elegance, with a lingering finish of mocha and dried fruit notes. This magnum will perfectly complement a roast beef, a leg of lamb, or a truffled dish. See the other vintages of Château La Croizille Official website of Château La Croizille
