De plus, le climat y est tempéré avec des hivers doux et des étés relativement modérés, peu à la canicule. La propriété possède 15 hectares sur plusieurs types de sols. EXPERTISE COMBINING TRADITION AND MODERNITY
Château Haut-Breton Larigaudière has always attached great importance to respecting and caring for its environment. It has been awarded Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) de niveau 3 certification and is now striving to improve and achieve level 4. This label gives us a precise diagnosis of our area and the actions we take throughout the year.
First of all, we prune our vines gently, respecting the flow of sap in our vines, to guarantee exceptional grape quality ». Then we use the method of sexual confusion to keep insects harmful to the vines at bay without using pesticides. What’s more, we harvest by hand, thus preserving our soils and ensuring an initial selection of berries right from the vine.
