Situated in one of the world’s most renowned appellations, Ch\u00e2teau Haut-Breton Larigaudi\u00e8re<\/strong><\/span> shines over Margaux<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. The De Schepper family acquired the estate in 1964<\/strong><\/span>. Since then, it has evolved to remain a Ch\u00e2teau for wine lovers and enthusiasts. The estate produces exceptional wines thanks to a rich terroir and empirical know-how.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

THE EXCEPTIONAL WINES OF CH\u00c2TEAU HAUT-BRETON<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Ch\u00e2teau currently has 15 hectares of vines, made up of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The estate currently offers 3 different wines to suit different contexts:<\/p>

Trianon<\/span><\/strong><\/a> de Larigaudi\u00e8re is the estate’s second wine, made from young vines. It is a light wine designed to be enjoyed young. Its aromas and controlled acidity make it a versatile wine, perfect for an aperitif with friends, for example.<\/p>

The blend of Ch\u00e2teau Haut-Breton Larigaudi\u00e8re is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. It exploits the richness of its soils to produce this wine of great elegance. As a result, it’s a perfect accompaniment to family get-togethers and sublime with red meats.<\/p>

Finally, the Ch\u00e2teau makes a wine from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon when vintage conditions permit. Le Cr\u00e9ateur<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, a name inspired by the Flemish translation of the owners’ name. This wine is only made when the best weather conditions are present. D’abord le Ch\u00e2teau Haut-Breton Larigaudi\u00e8re<\/span><\/strong> se trouve en plein c\u0153ur de l’appellation Margaux<\/span><\/strong><\/a> entre l’estuaire et l’oc\u00e9an. De plus, le climat y est temp\u00e9r\u00e9 avec des hivers doux et des \u00e9t\u00e9s relativement mod\u00e9r\u00e9s, peu \u00e0 la canicule. La propri\u00e9t\u00e9<\/strong><\/a><\/span> poss\u00e8de 15 hectares sur plusieurs types de sols. Sur la commune de Soussans, nous trouvons des tombes argileuses. Tandis que sur la commune d’Arsac, des parcelles de graves profondes et sableuses sont pr\u00e9sentes. Nos \u00e9quipes mettent tout en \u0153uvre pour valoriser la richesse et la complexit\u00e9 de nos sols.<\/p>

Ch\u00e2teau Haut-Breton Larigaudi\u00e8re<\/span><\/strong> is located in the heart of the Margaux<\/span><\/strong><\/a> appellation, between the estuary and the ocean. The climate is temperate, with mild winters and relatively moderate summers, with few heatwaves. The estate <\/strong><\/a><\/span>covers 15 hectares on several types of soil. In the commune of Soussans, we find clay graves. On the Arsac commune, there are plots of deep, sandy gravel. It has been awarded Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) de niveau 3<\/a><\/strong><\/span> certification and is now striving to improve and achieve level 4. This label gives us a precise diagnosis of our area and the actions we take throughout the year.<\/p>

First of all, we prune our vines gently, respecting the flow of sap in our vines, to guarantee exceptional grape quality\u00a0\u00bb. Then we use the method of sexual confusion to keep insects harmful to the vines at bay without using pesticides. What’s more, we harvest by hand, thus preserving our soils and ensuring an initial selection of berries right from the vine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
