Terranoble
TerraNoble was founded in 1993 by a group of visionaries led by Jorge Elgueta, with the mission of exploring the potential of the Maule Valley for fine wine production, establishing itself as a distinctive winery. The name “TerraNoble” acknowledges the majesty of the noble terroirs of the Maule Valley and their ability to produce excellent wines.
Tasting note
With an intense and deep red color, the Carignan reveals aromas of black fruits, blackberries, and cherries, with subtle tasting notes. The palate is complex and structured, showcasing rustic tannins mellowed by old barrels that highlight their evolution. The poor, shallow soils, combined with high temperatures and hydraulic stress, contribute to a high concentration and rich, natural acidity typical of granitic quartz soils and significant temperature fluctuations.

Food and Wine Pairing
This intense and structured Carignan pairs perfectly with rich and flavorful dishes. Its rustic character and black fruit aromas complement grilled meats such as a flavorful beef steak. The tannins softened by barrel aging will enhance the texture of the meat, while the wine’s rich, natural acidity balances the mouthfeel. Mediterranean dishes like Provençal daube or herb-rubbed lamb chops would also be excellent choices, highlighting the complexity and depth of this Carignan.
