Le Créateur
Since the exceptional vintage of 2000, and every year that allows it, Château Haut Breton Larigaudière has produced a special cuvée. It has been named ‘Le Créateur’, a translation of the owners’ original Flemish name “De Schepper”. Le Créateur was produced in 2000, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2017. The grape varieties are exclusively Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting note
This wine has an inky black colour and an explosive nose where concentrated fruit mingles with aromas of vanilla and toast. What the nose tells us, the palate confirms: the wine is rich and fleshy, full of black fruit with exceptional elegance and length. The tannins are solid and well-structured. Our growing methods are traditional and well thought-out, ensuring the greatest respect for the soil, the vines and the auxiliary fauna (vineyard certified iso14001 and HVE: high environmental value). FOOD AND WINE PAIRING
The 2017 Créateur will go perfectly with a beef Wellington. It also goes wonderfully with chocolate desserts.
