CADIOT Petit Verdot
Under the direction of Jean-Michel Garcion, this 100% Petit Verdot Bordeaux comes from vines that are an average of 15 years old, planted on clay-limestone and clay-loam soils at a density of 5,500 vines per hectare. The grapes are harvested when fully ripe for optimum phenolic quality, then macerated for around three weeks under temperature control. The wine is matured in vats with regular racking before bottling in the estate’s cellars.
Note de dégustation
Produced in such a way as to bring out the very fine ripeness of the fruit. Every effort has been made to preserve the freshness and pleasant, round, greedy fruitiness. Very black fruit on the nose (bilberry, liquorice). Generous, fruity palate (black sloe, blackberry, bilberry), with floral notes of rose and peony. The finish is well supported by the tannins. Perfect balance. Very good length.
