CADIOT Merlot
Under the direction of Jean-Michel Garcion, this 100% Merlot Bordeaux is made from vines averaging 15 years old, planted on clay-limestone and clay-loam soils at a density of 5,500 vines per hectare. The grapes are harvested when fully ripe, then macerated for around three weeks under controlled temperatures. The wine is matured in vats with regular racking before bottling in the estate’s own cellars.
Tasting notes
Very deep garnet-red colour, with legs forming around the rim of the glass. Fruity aromas (blackcurrant, raspberry), round and inviting (tart candy). A bouquet of red fruit on the palate. Good density, silky wine. Spicy finish. A wine for every moment of pleasure.
