CADIOT Cabernet Franc
Under the direction of Jean-Michel Garcion, this 100% Cabernet Franc Bordeaux comes from vines that are an average of 15 years old, planted at a density of 5,500 vines per hectare on clay-limestone and clay-loam soils. Harvested when fully ripe, the grapes undergo a temperature-controlled maceration lasting around three weeks. The wine is matured in vats with regular racking before bottling in the estate’s own cellars.
Tasting notes
Dark red, very deep garnet, with legs forming around the rim of the glass. Very aromatic nose of red fruit (strawberry, raspberry, cherry), round and inviting. On the palate, a bouquet of red fruit, density and freshness precede a spicy finish. A wine for every moment of pleasure. Drink it young, as an aperitif or with cold meats, red or white meats or poultry.
