Antonio Castagnedi
The Castagnedi family’s signature 2016 Amarone, made from lightly dried grapes. Limited production but higher concentration. Amarone 2016 comes from the commune of Mezzane di Sotto (Monti Garbi locality, 300 m above sea level).
Tasting note
Characterized by an intense ruby-red color with violet highlights, the bouquet is typical of Amarone, featuring ripe red fruit, spicy licorice aromas, black pepper and hints of chocolate. Flavors are balanced, with soft, round tannins, warm, slightly salty and elegant, with a long, fresh finish thanks to the balsamic notes that characterize it.
